After more than a decade’s worth of TV shows about home remodeling, buyers know what’s possible in a home and, as a result, many – especially in our area – have set their expectations high. They’re looking for homes that are turn-key, need no renovation or updating, and shine as far as condition and presentation. I somewhat jokingly refer to them as “HGTV homes.” In today’s market, they command a premium price and are often under contract in 10 days or less.
These homes can be found just about anywhere, and they come in all price ranges and styles. In each edition of “Standout Homes,” I’ll feature several examples from a specific area and in a particular price range.
